This workshop is meant for parents of children in kindergarten through gr. 5, or any parent that suspects their child has a learning disability in reading. It will include an in-depth description of dyslexia, and explanation of research-based reading interventions, and resources for parents to learn more. Come with questions as this presentation will be personalized to the parents in the audience.

This workshop is meant for parents of children in preschool through 3rd grade or parents of older, struggling readers. It will cover the five components of reading, expectations for each grade level, and tips for how to support your child at each stage. Come with questions as this presentation will be personalized to the parents in the audience.
Wed, Mar. 25th, 2026, 7pm
This workshop is meant for parents of children ages 2 to 6. It will cover the developmental stages of literacy, a description of the teaching methods used in South Shore preschools and kindergartens, and support for creating a home environment that nurtures a love of reading.
